
Michelle has more than 25 years of business experience including senior staff consulting in IT and finance, human resources management and functional excellence in organization development. Her uniquely varied background makes her a sought after thought partner and change management collaborator/consultant/coach to individuals, teams and leaders in a variety of functional areas and levels found in large organizations. She is a seasoned, consummate professional who brings gifts of compassion, intelligence, intuition and wit to each encounter.
Before retiring and launching her consulting practice, Michelle was Director of Organization Development (OD) for Brown-Forman Corporation —- maker and marketer of a fine wine and spirits portfolio, including flagship, Jack Daniels Tennessee Whiskey. In that enterprise wide role she was responsible for performance management, coaching, mentoring, career management training and a wide array of OD interventions including facilitation, training, teambuilding and behavioral assessments. She also lent her strategic thinking and expert facilitation skills to marketing teams as a designer of strategy and ideation workshops.
Michelle received an MBA and an MS in Leadership and Organizational Development from the University of Louisville. And she is an alumnus of the Darden Executive Partnership Program and Center for Creative Leaderships Strategic Leadership Program. Certifications include Predictive Index, MBTI, Prosci Change Management and Mastery Works’ Career Smart. Non-profit volunteer activities have included the Louisville Orchestra, Goodwill Industries of America, Junior Achievement, The Americana Community Center, MUW, W4W, Hosparus and the Bingham Child Guidance Center.
