This three day training session addresses the needs of organizations seeking to change their culture by applying facilitation skills to group situations.
Taught by the highly skilled facilitation professionals of The Wunderlin Company this class trains organization members in critical skills needed to plan and facilitate meetings.
With a maximum participant to faculty ratio of 9 to 1 this is an intensive three-day experiential training session. After completing this course participants will be able to:
- Shadow facilitate an in-depth problem-solving meeting
- Assist in the organization and planning of problem-solving meetings
- Facilitate most day-to-day meetings
- Become an internal leader of the cultural change initiative
- Take a facilitative approach to his/her own work
An overview of the session:
Day One
Introduces facilitation and the facilitation process. Via activities, discussion, and exercises, participants develop an understanding of the role of a facilitator, the difference between content and process, how to evaluate what a group needs, and how to take a facilitative approach to work.
Day Two
Focuses on facilitation skills development. Participants have the opportunity to practice essential skills such as brainstorming, process mapping, team building, and dealing with disruptive behaviors.
Day Three
Facilitation lab in which every participant leads a section of a problem-solving meeting.
